Contemporary cable Grandfather clock. Adapted from Clocks & Chimes Ardeer wall clcok, Designed with simple lines to produce a floor clcok for the modern home or workplace; the bottom of the floor clock incorporates a small drawer to house the winding key.
The cabinet is handcrafted from a choice of British hardwoods, sourced locally from sustainable woodlands; with the addition of walnut, from sustainable forests elsewhere.
(Ash is shown in the picture left).
The cabinet is fitted with a genuine 240 mm (10inch) enamel dial with seconds indication, together with a special and extended pendulum.
This is a 1/4 hour cable/key front winding movement with Westminster chime on 8-rod gong, automatic beat adjustment, automatic night time shut-off between 10.00 PM and 7.15 AM and complete chime shut-off facility.
