The Carron

  


The Carron is a pleasing cable driven, regulator-style wall clock; in a contemporary design based on simplicity and inspired by the shaker philosophy of utility and beauty. It incorporates a concealed compartment in the base housing the clock's winding key.

The cabinet is handcrafted from a choice of British hardwoods, sourced locally from sustainable woodlands; with the addition of walnut, from sustainable forests elsewhere.

The cabinet is fitted with a genuine 200 mm (8inch) enamel dial with seconds indication, a choice of Kieninger® movements, together with a wooden, grid iron or, for increased accuracy, a temperature compensating pendulum.

The choice of movements available is:
Kieninger®-PS055 is a front wound cable movement with 1/2-hour chime on a coiled gong, automatic beat adjustment, automatic night time shut-off between 10.00 PM and 7.00 AM as well as complete chime shut-off facility

  
Kieninger®-RSW is a 1/4 hour cable/key front winding movement with Westminster chime on 8-rod gong, automatic beat adjustment, automatic night time shut-off between 10.00 PM and 7.15 AM and complete chime shut-off facility
