Classic looking spring-driven Gothic wall clock. The design is based around the traditional Gothic arch under an apex; inspired by, and adapted from, Gothic bracket and table clocks of the19th centuary. The clock is enhanced further with the introduction of a small drawer at the base to house the winding key.
The cabinet is handcrafted from British hardwoods sourced locally from sustainable woodlands. The clock shown here is ebonised Ash.

There are two movement options:

The clock left, is fitted with a genuine 150 mm (6inch) enamel dial with seconds indication,mounted on a Kieninger® KRM (J) movement.
This movement is superb quality, a piece of precision engineering from the oldest existing clock movement manufactuer in the world.
it has triple chimes, playing: Wittington, Westminster and St Michael. Automatic night silence is built into the movement and is permenantly selected. Complete with a metal rod pendulum.

An alternative movement from Hermle is available. The Hermle 341, is a superbly engineered eight day clock movement. Spring driven, it has automaticatic beat adjustment and automatic night silence. It plays the Westminster chime with a melody on the 1/4, 1/2 & 3/4 hour marks.
