Alsager Mantel Clock
The Alsager Mantel Clock is a simple contemporary designed wooden mantel clock, produced by Tom Harris Clocks (THC) in the UK. Its hand made to order in a sustainable African exotic hardwood, with delivery, depending on workload, usually around two weeks from ordering.
The solid hardwood clock case of the Alsager Mantel Clock, is a dark Africa exotic timber, Panga Panga is the wood shown in the images. But due to availability of exotic woods from sustainable sources, this may be substituted with a similar dark wood in construction. The clock is finish is in Danish oil with Bees wax to give a satin tactile look and feel.
The case houses a Roman dial with black hour and minute hands along with seconds indication.
There is a choice of movement with this clock:
~ Standard quartz movement;
~ Chiming quartz movement – which has a choice of Bim Bam or Westminster chimes;
~ Radio controlled quartz movement – which uses the highly accurate 77.5 kHz carrier signal that is trasmitted across Europe from the Mainflingen longwave transmitter, in Mainflingen, Germany; and displays Grenwich Mean Time GMT for the UK.
