Tom Harris Clocks offer the Coliton Longcase Grandfather Floor Clock available in a selection of locally sources British hardwood; from sustainable woodlands, contact Clocks & Chimes for more details; the images show a  Walnut finish on Ash wood.  This floor standing clock features a large 10″ (25.4cm) white, enamel dial, and 116″ (cm) carbon fibre pendulum rod with contemporary designed pendulum bob.

 

The base is utilsed as a small cupboard and tray for the winding key.

Technical

The clock houses a Kieninger RS001 movement, with a 240mm Vienna white enamel dial and a special Kieninger 116cm pendulum with carbon fibre shaft and contemporary polished brass bob.   The RS001 is an eight-day movement requiring winding once a week; it has a Graham dead beat escapement and a Harrison maintaining power reserve to keep the movement running smoothly during the re-winding process. It also features Automatic Night Silencing between 10PM until 7-15AM.

He builds his clocks to order, producing superb clocks that enhance today’s home, or workplace. Tom enjoys creating a beautiful piece of furniture, which others can take satisfaction in owning.

Tom Harris Clocks are delivered in six to eight weeks from ordering (subject to workload), and a deposit option is available to secure an order in the production schedule, with the balance payable when the clock is ready for delivery.
